Problem/Challenge

This large manufacturer had continuing problems with his supplier of specialty coatings for coils. They had delivered spotty quality coatings that were being rejected by the end users.

Solution

Within 24 hours, APV chemists engineered a new coating that not only met, but exceeded the spin dip requirements of the customer. APV plant personnel produced a batch within 24 hours, and it was shipped to arrive at the customer’s plant the following day.

Results

APV became the preferred supplier immediately and later was the only supplier of engineered coatings to this well-known manufacturer of coil springs used in a wide variety of applications.
