Problem/Challenge

The pool operators had been plagued with all sorts of quality problems from the original supplier of coatings. APV was consulted and subsequently devised a successful formulation

Solution

The single-coat solution supplied by APV addressed the issues of a standardized color, ease of application, coupled with resistance to scuffs, scrapes, mold and mildew.

Results

APV chemists designed a superior product to replace the paint provided by the manufacturer’s earlier supplier. This was the beginning of a long-standing relationship, during which the customer has continually raised the performance standards to deliver what they now feel is an industry-leading pool paint.

Timing

The initial solution was quickly developed and produced; subsequent iterations of this paint have evolved over the years.
