The American Heart Association's 2009 Heart Walk

10-19-2009 - Akron, OH - In support of the American Heart Association and our fit-friendly work environment, APV had a wonderful time participating the 2009 Heart Walk, here in Akron, on Saturday, October 17th! Despite the cold, the APV team did an exceptional job and kept a great pace.

APV was able to donate $2,000.00 to fight the #1 and #3 killers in the United States, heart disease and stroke. These diseases claim more than 910,000 American lives each year. The American Heart Association's Heart Walk not only brought a total of $270,517.00 in donations toward recovering this issue, but brought the APV team and other teams in the community a little bit closer together.
