New Marine Topcoat

06-16-2007 - Akron, OH - Monday, APV Engineered Coatings introduced their new High Performance Marine Topcoat. "We have supplied coatings for Marine Upholstery for years", says Michael Couchie, VP of Sales. "The Industry has been begging for a coating to provide improved stain resistance, lower gloss, and offer resistance to mold and bacteria growth...I'm proud to say we now have it!"
Thanks to countless hours of R&D work by John Russell and other lab staff at APV, they have developed the 'Holy Grail' of Marine Finishes. In addition to the properties mentioned above, the coating is a 100% barrier to plasticizer migration, and thus dramatically extends the useful life of the PVC.
