ZEVOC® Retread Cement is the first patented water-based cement for cured rubber substrates. The product is typically used in retread manufacturing and tread manufacturing to adhere a new tread to a buffed carcass or to prep a tread for retread manufacturers. ZEVOC® can also be used in applications such as hose, industrial rubber products, shoes, and golf ball manufacturing. Although this product is water-based, has zero VOCs, and no HAPS, its adhesion ability matchs or exceeds solvent-based alternatives.

ZEVOC® complies with all federal, state, and local regulations governing emissions from retread facilities. It produces less odor than solvent-based cements, meeting OSHA regulations and is easy to clean. As a non-flammable cement, the ZEVOC® has the potential to lower company insurance costs and requires no special storage needs, sprinkler systems, or equipment with lock-out devices.

ZEVOC® is applied with conventional spray equipment. Assistance with equipment, application, and cleaning products are available through APV. ZEVOC® can be ordered in 5 gallon pails or 55 gallon drums.
