ZevocŪ Water-Based Retread Cement

APV Engineered Coatings' patented ZEVOCŪ (zero volatile organic compound) is a water-based retread cement. ZEVOCŪ cement removes all volatile organic content from the air, yet more than matches the adhesion and drying time of solvent-based alternatives.
With absolutely no VOCs, ZEVOCŪ complies with all federal, state, and local regulations governing emissions from retread facilities. It also reduces permission requirements compared to solvent-based adhesives. As a nonflammable cement, ZEVOCŪ has the potential to lower company insurance costs.
ZEVOCŪ is also low odor, meeting OSHA regulations, and it provides easy cleanup. With ZEVOCŪ, there is no need for special storage requirements, sprinkler systems, or equipment with lock-out devices.
The higher solids content in ZEVOCŪ means the product will go much further than solvent-based cements, resulting in substantial savings for the consumer.
ZEVOCŪ is typically packaged in 5 gallon pails and can be applied with conventional spray equipment.
Aside from tire cement, ZevocŪ can be used for a broad range of applications including rubber hoses, tennis shoes, and the inside of golf balls. Special applications are endless!
