In response to a rising demand, APV has produced a water-based, water-removable, Tire Writer.
Traditionally, APV’s tire marking crayons have been used to mark cured tires to indicate to finishing/verification personnel where a tire may need attention before passing inspection. If the tire or repair is not being painted over (for example, with our water-based P-9562 repair paint) then solvent is used to remove the crayon marks. With the decline in the usage of solvents, APV has developed with this attractive alternative.
Eventually, they will be available in a range of colors. Currently, we have samples available in white (TW-1042), yellow (TW-4033), and blue (TW-6031).
Feel free to request samples of our tire writers whenever you need to mark any kind of cured rubber with a removable mark. These writers are, in their current form, not suitable for internal uncured surfaces.
APV's water-based tire writers benefit the tire production industry. They are used to mark cured rubber surfaces for inspection purposes. This product is easily implemented into any tire production line.
