Harmonic Dot Markers: Solvent-Based

Dot markers are used to determine the high point of a tire, which is then used by rim assembly plants to create optimum synchronization when mounting the tire.

All dot markers should be shaken thoroughly before use.

A dot marker normally gets 5000+ uses.

Recommended order quantity is multiples of 12

Dot markers are also available in water-based type and extra large size.

The standard dot markers have diameters of 10, 12, and 14mm; the extra large dot markers have diameters of 17, 20, and 22 mm.

Shake the dot marker thoroughly before use. The gentlest pressure will provide a round dot, while heavier pressure gives a wider dot. Do not try to write with them or the tip may work loose and the ink will be used up quickly.
*Yellow and white dot markers contain a heavier pigment than other colors and need to shaken very well before use.

Do not over-tighten the Dot Marker caps, especially where there is an excess of ink around the tip.

In exceptional circumstances, the cap may stick to the excess ink and as you unscrew for use, the tip unscrews also.
