KAPguard™ and DeckProTec™ are water-based, fluoropolymer topcoats formulated with Kynar Aquatec®, a PVDF resin, which provides superior stain and abrasion resistance over traditional products. Kynar® has been #1 in the architectural community for many years and this superior technology can still outperform its substitutes.

KAPguard™ is custom formulated to adhere to various types of siding and roofing including PVC, polypropylene, fiber cement, and other composite materials. KAPguard™ is typically applied by OEM after the product has been extruded.

DeckProTec™ is custom formulated to adhere to various types of composite wood decking materials including the railings and trim. The Kynar Aquatec® resin system combined with the highest quality additives, provides superior weatherability, excellent resistance to abrasion, and no staining. DeckProTec™ is also applied by OEM after the product has been extruded.

Being 'green' doesn't just describe the water-based and low VOC composition of KAPguard™ and DeckProTec™. These products are formulated to require 'low bake' or the ability to be cured at a lower temperature in a lesser amount of time. This essentially saves energy, lowers emissions, and lowers production costs.
