KAPguard is a line of fluoropolymer topcoats formulated with Kynar® PVDF resin for use in the roofing industry. Coatings offer superior stain and abrasion resistance over traditional products. When applied to roofing materials, KAPguard with Kynar® PVDF resin provides a solution to addressing the performance requirements for Cool Roofs under Title 24 legislation. KAPguard's performance capabilities increase the longevity and energy efficiency of a broad range of roofing materials, including polypropylene, composite materials, PVC, and metal.

Available in WATER-BASED and SOLVENT-BASED formulations.
