APV offers heat-activated adhesives for use on paper, textiles, and metal foil. These adhesives are usually applied to a substrate in a roll coat operation. The coated material is in a non-tacky state until heat is applied to initiate the bonding process.

Although usually supplied in its neutral color, the product can be tinted to achieve various colors for coding purposes. The heat activation point is entirely dependant on the substrate sensitivity and scorch point. Customers specify the type of substrate as well as performance requirements.
