VYNGUARD® with Kynar® PVDF is a high-performance finish engineered to extend the life cycle of outdoor upholstery, fabrics and textiles.
VYNGUARD® with Weldable PVDF
VYNGUARD® with Weldable PVDF is a high-performance fluoropolymer-based coating that provides excellent weatherability for outdoor vinyl and allows for welding or heat sealing of the substrate.
Like Kynar® PVDF, VYNGUARD® Weldable PVDF is a tough thermoplastic protective coating that provides optimal properties for substrates used in outdoor applications such as tent, awning, roofing and other architectural structures.
Weldable PVDF can be RF welded or heat sealed without hindering the integrity of the bond. As a clear or pigmented system, VYNGUARD® Weldable PVDF is highly inert to UV radiation and maintains integrity, gloss, and color for 10-15 years.
VYNGUARD® Weldable PVDF is also an excellent barrier to plasticizer migration, providing the substrate with long-term flexibility and product life. It is available in solvent or water-base chemistries and can be engineered for gravure, spray, or roll coat applications.
